Xabi Alonso open to Boniface and Schick strike partnership

Xabi Alonso has hinted at the possibility of using both Boniface and Schick together in the starting lineup, despite typically favoring a formation with just one striker.

While he often brings one on as a substitute to chase goals, Alonso acknowledged that the pairing could work if both strikers can complement each other’s strengths and understand the team’s needs.

Boniface, known for his dribbling and playmaking ability, could provide creative support for Schick, who is more of a traditional poacher in the box.

If Boniface operates behind Schick, he could create space and chances, but Alonso would need to ensure this doesn't disrupt the attacking balance, especially in terms of Florian Wirtz's role.
