Aduana Stars’ General Manager, Takyi Arhin, has criticized Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak for demanding automatic spots on the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Executive Council.
The two clubs, citing the tragic death of Francis Frimpong in Nsoatre, are pushing for reforms, including Exco representation.
Arhin, however, argues that Kotoko and Hearts are no different from other Ghana Premier League clubs and do not deserve special privileges.
He condemns using the tragedy as justification for their demands and claims both clubs have lost their past dominance, with dwindling fan support.
He also questions their league success over the past decade. Meanwhile, the GFA has introduced enhanced safety protocols at match venues in response to Pooley’s death.
