You need tact and toughness to handle Sports Ministry - Kofi Adams

Kofi Adams believes his appointment as Minister for Sports and Recreation reflects his qualities.

He received this position after the National Democratic Congress won the 2024 general election. He replaces Mustapha Ussif in this role.

Adams stated that the Ministry needed someone who could be both tough and soft.

“Why did President Mahama choose me for Sports Minister? He wanted someone with a mix of toughness and softness,” Adams told Channel One News.

“This role requires a military mentality and precision. You need both toughness and softness.”

Since taking office, Adams has been busy. He is focusing on several federations under his supervision. He is also monitoring various sports-related activities closely.
