'You never know what the future holds' regarding Black Stars return - Kwesi Appiah

Former Black Stars coach Kwesi Appiah has hinted at the possibility of returning to manage Ghana’s national team, despite currently being contracted with Sudan.

The 64-year-old previously coached the Black Stars from 2012-2014 and 2017-2020. With Ghana’s recent struggles, his name has emerged as a potential replacement for Otto Addo.

In an interview with Asempa FM, Appiah stated he remains professional and open to future opportunities while focusing on his current role.

Under his leadership, Sudan recently qualified for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, defeating Ghana during qualification.
