Former Ghana midfielder Yussif Chibsah believes Ghana Football Association president Kurt Okraku's struggles stem from his appointments to key roles.
Speaking on Sporty FM, Chibsah acknowledged Okraku’s potential to lead Ghanaian football to success but stressed the importance of surrounding himself with capable individuals.
He pointed out that while Ghana has recently won the African Games, failures in youth team qualifications and the Black Stars' AFCON campaign indicate underperformance.
Chibsah praised Okraku’s *Catch Them Young* initiative and efforts in women’s football, calling them significant achievements.
However, he criticized the FA president’s appointments, stating that poor selections have hindered progress.
He emphasized that leadership requires strong support, and Okraku must improve his choices to enhance Ghanaian football’s development.
