Arrests after South African pastor storms school with machete

The church of South African preacher Pastor Mboro, real name Paseka Motsoeneng, was set on fire by angry schoolchildren after he allegedly wielded machetes at a primary school to forcibly remove his grandchildren amid a custody battle.

The incident, captured in a viral video, showed Mboro in a tense confrontation with teachers, flanked by a man with a replica firearm.

Following this, his Incredible Happenings Church was looted and burned.

Authorities reported that five people were arrested for crimes including assault and intimidation.

South African Education Minister Siviwe Gwarube condemned the attack on the school.
