Two students, Timothy Oluwabukola and Anthony Odemerho, have been arraigned for allegedly hacking MTN Nigeria’s computers, stealing airtime and data worth N1.9bn.
The Police Special Fraud Unit charged them with conspiracy, unauthorized access, and unlawful conversion.
The alleged crimes took place between January and April 2024 in Lagos and Edo states.
Both defendants pleaded not guilty.
The court will hear their bail applications on August 5, 2024.
