Liberia Investment Conference Held in Accra

The Liberian Ambassador to Ghana, Mrs. Musu Jatu Rhule, has called for investment in Liberia's economy. She believes the country's political and economic stability attracts global investors.

During her speech at the Liberia Investment Conference in Accra, she highlighted opportunities in agriculture, infrastructure, renewable energy, transportation, and digital transformation. The conference was themed "Unlocking Investment Potential in Liberia for Sustainable Economic Growth."

Mrs. Rhule noted that Liberia offers a favorable economic environment for investors. The country is rich in natural resources like gold and diamonds.

She mentioned progress in infrastructure development, digital transformation, energy, agriculture, and manufacturing. These advancements are part of a national agenda for inclusive growth.

Setting up a business has become easier due to digitalization. This reduces challenges for new investors.

Mrs. Rhule expressed gratitude for the diverse participants at the conference. Leaders from government, industry, finance, and innovation attended to explore investment opportunities in Liberia.

The Liberian Deputy Minister for Press and Public Affairs, Mr. Daniel O. Sando, discussed potential investments in wildlife and marine tourism. He emphasized that these areas remain untapped.

Mr. Sando stated that Liberia seeks collaboration with local and foreign investors to unlock tourism potential. He believes Liberia can become a top tourist destination due to its natural beauty.

The Liberian Minister of Commerce and Industry, Mrs. Magdalene Ellen Dagoseh, shared plans to train young people for economic prosperity. The Ministry is working with experts to enhance skills among the youth.

Liberia is ready to facilitate investment and grow its economy further.
