Namibia: Swapo President Nandi-Ndaitwah Denies Division Claims Over Her Eight Administration Appointees

Swapo president Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah has dismissed claims of internal division.

She rejected questions about her selection of eight members for her administration.

Nandi-Ndaitwah said these questions imply division among party leaders.

This follows reports that some Swapo members are unhappy with her choices.

"Are you saying all those who served since independence were from Swapo?" she asked.

"Why is it a question now with this administration?"

She emphasized that leadership positions are not required for appointments.

Nandi-Ndaitwah stated that those wishing for her administration to fail are wasting their time.

She believes her team will successfully deliver services to the people.
