At least 32 people were killed and 63 injured in a suicide bombing and gunmen attack at a popular beachfront in Mogadishu, Somalia, on Saturday.
The attack, carried out by al-Shabab militants, occurred in the Abdiaziz district.
Al-Shabab, affiliated with al-Qaeda, has waged an insurgency against Somalia's UN-backed government for nearly 20 years.
Eyewitnesses described scenes of panic and chaos, with people fleeing and taking cover.
Police reported that five attackers were involved: one detonated himself, three were killed, and one was captured alive.
