Zimbabwe: One-Year-Old Baby Dies After Falling Into 9 Metres Deep Open Well

A one-year-old baby died in Komboniyatsva, Epworth. The child fell into a nine-meter deep open well on Monday.

The toddler was playing outside while the mother worked inside the house.

The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) reported the tragic incident. The child was one year and three months old.

According to the police statement, the accident happened on December 5, 2025. The mother was doing chores while her child played with other kids outside.
