CIZA's ‘Isaka’ dominates digital charts

CIZA, a Johannesburg-born artist, is changing Afrobeats and Amapiano. His latest single, "Isaka (6 am)," features Jazzworx and Thukuthela.

Released in early May 2025, "Isaka (6 am)" has become very popular. It has over 5.9 million streams on Spotify. This success cements CIZA's status as a leading young artist in Africa.

At just 23 years old, CIZA, whose real name is Nkululeko Nciza, has created a digital empire. He has over 1.6 million monthly listeners on Spotify. His total Spotify streams exceed 10 million.

The song "Isaka" makes up nearly 66% of his monthly streams. Its popularity is also evident on TikTok.

CIZA's social media following is growing rapidly. He has 213K followers on TikTok (+901% growth YoY). On Instagram, he has 122K followers (+22% growth YoY). His global social media audience exceeds 375K.

Most of CIZA's audience is in Africa (93.1%). Key markets include South Africa, Nigeria, and Tanzania. He is also gaining attention in the UK, Netherlands, and US. Johannesburg alone accounts for over 20% of his Spotify listeners.

Playlist exposure plays a big role in his streaming success. CIZA's music appears on 353 Spotify playlists with a reach of 15.3 million listeners. Currently, he is featured on 189 active playlists.

"Isaka" follows other successful releases like "Bank Notification," which has 1.5M streams; "Carolina," with Major League Djz & Abidoza at 570K streams; and "Adje," which has 270K streams.

CIZA will arrive in Ghana on June 26th for his media tour.
