Grammys, MTV Awards don't play visualisers - Lyrical Joe

Rapper Lyrical Joe disagrees with the idea that music videos are irrelevant.

His comments follow suggestions from some music industry figures, like BullGod. They believe visualisers are more effective than professional music videos today.

Lyrical Joe spoke to Doreen Avio and DJ Slim on Daybreak Hitz. He stated that visualisers lack the qualities needed for strong business impact.

He said, "Trust me, they won't play your visualiser at the Grammys or MTV." He emphasized the need for good music videos in an artist's catalogue.

When labels consider signing an artist, they look at their video investments. This shows how serious the artist is about their brand.

Lyrical Joe also mentioned freestyle videos appeal to audiences. However, he believes official music videos are always more important.

He explained that while freestyles can be done repeatedly, a main video is shot only once.
