Rising Ghanaian musician Keddi has denied claims about his song, “Few Questions for Tinny.” He stated that the song is not a diss track aimed at veteran rapper Tinny. Instead, it was meant to ask questions, not attack.
In an interview with Andy Dosty on Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz show, Keddi explained his inspiration. He wanted to know which up-and-coming Ga musician Tinny supports.
“I can never diss Tinny because he is my godfather,” Keddi said. He looks up to him a lot.
Keddi also mentioned that he shared the song with Tinny before its release. Tinny did not express any displeasure about it.
“Before I released the song, I sent it to him,” Keddi added. He has a screenshot where Tinny said, “Nice questions.”
Despite public speculation, Keddi emphasized that his intent was respectful and genuine. His team has tried to reach out to Tinny for a collaboration.
“I've had people close to him try to contact him,” he said. However, he hasn’t received any feedback yet.
Keddi is gaining attention in the Ghanaian music scene. He hopes that Tinny will respond positively in the future.
