Will DJ Lord OTB keep his crown as Ghana’s Best DJ in 2025?

DJ Lord OTB won the DJ of the Year award in 2023 and 2024. Now, everyone wonders if he can keep his title.

At last year’s ceremony at the Palms Convention Centre in Accra, he won more than just one award. He took home the DJ of the Year trophy. He also won Artiste DJ of the Year for working with King Promise. Additionally, he was named Best DJ Greater Accra.

These wins show his versatility and growing influence in the industry. His latest mixtape, “This is Kweku Smoke,” has received positive feedback. This indicates he is not resting but continuing to push forward.

The competition remains tough for him. DJ Black had a strong run from 2013 to 2016, setting a high bar. Then came DJVyrusky, who won multiple times in 2017, 2018, 2020, and 2021. In 2019, DJ Switch made history as the youngest winner at just ten years old. With both veterans and newcomers eager to win, the upcoming awards promise excitement.

The Guinness Ghana DJ Awards 2025 will be a major test for all DJs. It will feature a legacy of excellence and many eager contenders. The fight for Ghana’s top DJ crown is heating up. Nominations have not yet been announced, but DJs are preparing to compete.

For now, DJ Lord OTB's back-to-back victories set a high standard. Whether he stays on his throne in 2025 depends on his energy and ability to fill dance floors.
