World Children’s Day: Wendy Shay supports Manhean M/A Basic School

Award-winning Ghanaian musician Wendy Shay has brightened the lives of students at Manhean M/A Basic School in the Eastern Region as part of her World Children’s Day celebration.

Through her foundation, Wendy donated over 100 school uniforms, 1,000 exercise books, and various learning materials, including pens, pencils, rulers, and sharpeners.

To improve teaching conditions, she provided whiteboards, graphic boards, markers, and educational charts.

The “Vivian” hitmaker also installed ten ceiling fans to enhance classroom comfort and supplied 26 bags of cement and sand to repair cracked floors, ensuring safety. She further added six plastic chairs for extra seating.

Wendy expressed her commitment to doing more for Ghana’s educational sector and appealed for support to expand her philanthropic work.
