10 years strong: Ahotor FM celebrates a decade of impact

Ahuma Bosco Ocansey, the General Manager, expressed deep gratitude and excitement. He noted that the event exceeded all expectations.

Ocansey reflected on Ahotor FM’s commitment over the past ten years. The station has amplified community voices and fostered dialogue, especially for the 2024 elections. He praised his team for their integrity, professionalism, and teamwork. These qualities have been vital in overcoming challenges and achieving success.

He also recognized former General Managers and staff who supported the station's mission.

Dr. Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo is the Founder and CEO of Ahotor FM. He shared plans to enhance the station’s digital presence. He announced ambitions to launch a television station targeting younger audiences in Ghana.

Hon. Gabriel Tanko Kwamigah-Atokple chaired the occasion. He applauded Ahotor FM’s achievements and stressed maintaining high professional standards as they grow.

Former NCA boss Paa Rock Van Pessey was a special guest of honor. He encouraged staff to innovate continuously and explore new media technologies.

Veteran journalist Kwesi Pratt urged media focus on improving lives in Ghana. He emphasized that no one should go to bed hungry.

The anniversary event attracted many influential figures, including politicians like Lawyer James Enu and Hon. Ludwig Tortimeh. Their presence highlighted Ahotor FM's significant role in Ghana’s media landscape.
