2025 Budget: Finance Minister will bring clarity on Goldbod creation – Sammy Gyamfi

The 2025 budget statement, to be presented by Finance Minister Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson, will clarify plans for establishing the Gold Board (Goldbod) and introduce measures to ease economic hardships.

Sammy Gyamfi, Acting MD of PMMC, expressed optimism that the budget would address national needs, create jobs, and provide relief. The budget incorporates issues from the National Economic Dialogue and concerns raised by traders in Accra’s business district.

It will outline the financial state inherited by the NDC government while reflecting campaign pledges, including the removal of the betting tax and COVID levy.

Dr. Forson reassured Ghanaians of continuous engagement, acknowledging the economy's fragility and the need for stabilization efforts. He emphasized that the government remains committed to representing the people’s concerns.
