2025 Budget: President Mahama will fix the economy, restore hope – Finance Minister

Finance Minister Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson has assured that President John Dramani Mahama will restore hope and fix Ghana’s economy.

Presenting the 2025 budget, he stated that the administration inherited an economy in crisis with high debt but is taking steps to address the challenges.

He emphasized that the government would adhere to public procurement processes and respect parliamentary budget appropriations. Additionally, Dr. Forson confirmed that the much-anticipated 24-Hour Economy policy will be presented to Parliament soon.
