Finance Minister Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson has projected Ghana’s GDP to grow by 4.4% by the end of 2025, with non-oil GDP expected to expand at 5.3%.
Speaking in Parliament, he emphasized the government's focus on economic recovery and diversification through fiscal discipline, enhanced revenue collection, and sectoral investments.
Ghana’s economy, which grew by 3.2% in 2023 and an estimated 3.8% in 2024, has faced inflationary pressures, debt burdens, and global slowdowns. However, growth in agriculture, manufacturing, and services is expected to drive the projected rebound.
The government remains optimistic that these macroeconomic strategies will strengthen the economy, ensuring long-term stability and resilience.
