2025 budget is about shaping a stronger future for all – Finance Minister

The Finance Minister, Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson, has declared that the 2025 budget is all about “shaping a stronger future for all.”

In a recent post on X, he invited public input on their expectations and top priorities, as the budget presentation is scheduled for March 11, 2025.

The upcoming budget will provide a detailed breakdown of Ghana’s economy and outline government proposals to reset and drive the country’s economic transformation in line with President Mahama’s vision.

Minister for Government Communications, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, revealed that the budget policies will be informed by recommendations from the National Economic Dialogue held on March 3-4, 2025, and noted that economic figures are even direr than previously understood.

Additionally, Presidential Advisor Gossie Tandoh is preparing for the full rollout of the transformation policy.
