ASA Savings and Loans collaborates with Bibiani Sectech to plant over 500 trees

Mr. Emmanuel Opare-Yeboah is the Area Manager of ASA. He urged the school management and students to nurture seedlings better.

He emphasized that ASA aims to promote environmental conservation. The company encourages citizens, especially students, to plant trees. This effort helps combat deforestation.

Richard Nartey, ASA's Sustainability Manager, spoke about their vital intervention. It aims to replace depleted forest cover in the country. This will also help reduce greenhouse gases (GHG).

Nartey noted that climate change causes drastic weather changes and rising sea levels. Neglecting the environment has led to rising temperatures and floods. Many areas are now facing water shortages.

Mr. Joseph Halifax Amandeh is the assistant headmaster for academics. He stated that planting trees ensures a greener future for the school and nation.

Amandeh feels responsible for protecting the environment as a management member. He promised that ASA's gesture would not go to waste.
