Absa Bank recently opened its SME Banking Suite at the Adum branch in Kumasi. This space offers financial services, free meeting rooms, and internet access. Monthly SME Clinics provide coaching on cashflow management, digital marketing, and business resilience.
The Citi Business Festival supports these initiatives by engaging the SME community. Experts from Absa Bank will participate in the festival. They will share insights on personal finance, agribusiness financing, and digital strategy.
Nana Essilfuah Tamakloe is the Director of Marketing and Corporate Affairs at Absa Bank Ghana. She stated that their partnership with the Citi Business Festival aligns with their goals. The platform helps businesses grow beyond just access to finance.
This year’s festival began on June 2, 2025. It is organized by 97.3 Citi FM and Channel One TV. The event features forums, clinics, and bootcamps across four themes: Personal Finance, Agribusiness, SME Development, and Tech Startups.
Daily series will air at 9 a.m. on Citi FM and 10 a.m. on Channel One TV. These programs will offer expert perspectives and practical tips for personal and business decisions.
