Ag. Deputy Managing Director introduced to staff of GACL

Madam Obuobia Darko-Opoku expressed gratitude for her warm reception. She values open communication, teamwork, and collaboration in her work. She encourages staff to see her as a partner ready to learn and grow.

Obuobia is an experienced executive in corporate management and human resources. She has a strong background in strategic communications and institutional growth. Her track record includes driving organizational transformation and improving stakeholder engagement.

Previously, she was the Deputy Chief Executive Officer at the Ghana Free Zones Authority. There, she oversaw operations, business development, and strategic reforms. Her leadership improved efficiency and supported sustainable growth.

With expertise in Human Resource Management, Obuobia has led successful teams. She has championed talent development initiatives that boost productivity. Her skills also include governance and administration for high-impact workplace cultures.

In addition to corporate leadership, she excels in brand management and public relations. She shapes institutional reputations through effective media strategies. As founder of the Ignite Youth Empowerment Initiative, she mentors young women in leadership.

Obuobia holds a bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management. She also has advanced degrees in Brands and Communications Management from the University of Professional Studies, and Public Relations from the Ghana Institute of Journalism.

Currently, she is pursuing a PhD in Marketing to deepen her expertise further. With her strategic vision and commitment to excellence, Obuobia continues to drive impactful change both corporately and socially.
