Akufo-Addo honored for educational leadership at 2025 Africa Prosperity Awards

Former President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo received the Transformational Leadership in Education Award at the 2025 Africa Prosperity Champions Awards and Presidential Gala Dinner for his contributions to expanding quality education and inclusivity in Africa.

The event, held as part of the 2025 Africa Prosperity Dialogues, focused on advancing economic integration under the theme “Africa’s Single Market Through Infrastructure: Invest, Connect, Integrate.” Business leaders and policymakers explored strategies to strengthen trade, infrastructure, and investment.

Other honorees included Herman Chinery-Hesse (Digital Technology), Dr. Sidi Ould Tah (Financial Leadership), Bridgette Motsepe-Radebe (Women Empowerment), Wode Maya (Tourism Promotion), Dr. Rakesh Wahi (Pan-African Media), Dr. Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma (Pan-Africanism Leadership), and Mesfin Tasew (Connectivity & Infrastructure).
