Aliko Dangote tops Africa’s richest list with $23.9 Billion - Metro TV Online

Forbes has released its 2025 list of Africa's wealthiest people. The number of billionaires has increased to 22. Their total wealth is now $105 billion, up from $82.4 billion in 2024. This growth is due to stronger market values and economic improvements.

Aliko Dangote tops the list with a wealth of $23.9 billion. He owns Dangote Petroleum Refinery, which contributed significantly to his wealth this year. Last year, his net worth was $13.9 billion.

Mike Adenuga, chairman of Globacom, ranks second with $6.8 billion. Abdulsamad Rabiu, chairman of BUA Group, follows closely with $5.1 billion. These business moguls are key players in Africa's growing economy.

Femi Otedola shares the 16th spot with a net worth of $1.5 billion. He is the chairman of First Bank of Nigeria Holdings Plc.
