Amenfiman wins Overall Best Rural Bank Award

Amenfiman Rural Bank PLC, located in Wasa Akropong, has been named the Overall Best Rural Bank in Ghana for the 2022/2023 financial year at the Rural and Community Banks Excellence Awards.

The bank also won five additional awards: Regional Best Bank – Western Region, RCB with Largest Balance Sheet, Most Profitable RCB (2nd Runner Up), Best Deposit Mobilization Bank, and Best in Mobile Banking.

The bank's exceptional performance was highlighted by a pretax profit of GH¢24 million in 2023, a 127% growth from GH¢10.7 million in 2022, and a return on equity increase to 13.6%.

CEO Dr. Alex Asmah credited the bank's success to strategic cost management and focus on high-margin products, dedicating the awards to customers, shareholders, and employees.
