The state-of-the-art facility will enhance auditing operations, improve service delivery, and strengthen oversight of public funds in the region.
The office, which houses a dedicated team of auditors, aims to promote accountability, ensure compliance with legal standards, and meet the growing demand for auditing services.
At the ceremony, Auditor-General Johnson Akuamoah Asiedu highlighted the office’s role in protecting the public purse and improving audit quality.
Regional Minister Nii Kwartei Titus Glover noted the office is part of ongoing efforts to decentralize operations, with 3 regional offices already inaugurated and 15 more district offices planned.
