The Bank of Ghana hosted a non-denominational Thanksgiving Service to mark the end of the year, with the theme "Give Thanks to the Lord."
The service, held at the new "Bank Square," provided the Board of Directors, Management, Staff, and Stakeholders an opportunity to express gratitude for God's mercies, guidance, and the Bank's successful operations throughout the year.
The service featured Bible readings by Dr. Ernest Addison, Governor of the Bank, and other officials. In his remarks, Dr. Addison highlighted improvements in banking sector performance, particularly the success of the domestic gold-for-reserves program, which has bolstered reserves and stabilized the exchange rate.
He expressed optimism about the banking sector's continued stability and growth. The service also featured hymns from the Bank’s Melodious Voices of the Exchequer Choir and the Ridge Youth Choir.
