Dr. Bawumia's Call to NPP Supporters

Former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is the NPP's presidential candidate for 2024. On Friday, he urged party members to stay strong and united.

He believes a solid stance will help the party address issues from their last electoral defeat. Dr. Bawumia emphasized that the NPP can regain power in the 2028 elections.

He called for unity among polling station executives, electoral coordinators, and constituency leaders. Dr. Bawumia shared these thoughts during his “Thank You Tour” in Atebubu.

He met with supporters from five constituencies: Atebubu-Amantin, Sene East, Sene West, Pru East, and Pru West. He apologized to any party members who felt neglected or mistreated by leadership.

The former Vice President noted that success in 2028 depends on commitment from all constituencies. He encouraged supporters to forgive each other and move forward together.

Other attendees were Dr. Gideon Boako (MP for Tano North), Justin Koduah (NPP General Secretary), and Mr. Masawudu Osman (NPP’s National Third Vice Chairman). Also present were Nana Akomea and Dr. Anyass Ibrahim, former leaders within the party.
