Finance Minister Dr. Ato Forson has stressed the need for comprehensive economic reforms to ensure Ghana attains upper-middle-income status before 2038.
Speaking at the National Economic Dialogue in Accra, he warned that without bold reforms, Ghana may not reach this milestone until after 2050.
Dr. Forson reaffirmed the government’s commitment to introducing ambitious measures aimed at resetting and strengthening the economy. He emphasized that proactive policy changes are crucial for achieving sustainable growth and development.
The National Economic Dialogue has gathered policymakers, economists, business leaders, and civil society organizations to discuss strategies for long-term economic stability and prosperity.
