The Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF), Linux Foundation Education, and Andela are collaborating to train 20,000–30,000 African technologists in cloud-native technologies over the next two to three years, free of charge.
The program will focus on Kubernetes certifications (KCNA and CKAD) to equip participants with in-demand skills for global job opportunities.
The initiative addresses the rising global demand for remote tech talent, especially from Africa, where developers are increasingly working for international companies.
Participants will be selected from Andela’s talent marketplace, spanning 49 African countries. This partnership aims to bridge the tech talent gap while enhancing job prospects and boosting Africa’s growing developer ecosystem.
