Channel One TV/Citi FM's Food Festival in full swing [Photos]

The 2025 Channel One TV/Citi FM "Back to Your Village" Food Festival is happening now. It takes place at the Accra Metropolitan Assembly forecourt. The festival showcases Ghana's rich culinary heritage.

Food vendors are busy preparing traditional dishes. The festival grounds are filled with energy and excitement. Attendees are enjoying favorites like Tuo Zaafi, banku, and fufu. These dishes come with a variety of flavorful soups. The air is filled with the scent of sizzling pork being expertly roasted.

To complement the meals, refreshing local beverages are available. Choices include Sobolo, Asaana, Pito, and fresh coconut juice.

This year’s festival features many diverse vendors. Notable names include Bob Vicky Grills and B.B Nectar Fruit Juice. Other vendors include Afro Brew, Luna Ice, and Snack IT Catering Services. Each vendor adds a unique touch to Ghanaian cuisine.

The festival also offers a vibrant cultural experience. Attendees can enjoy traditional drumming, dancing, and live music performances. Acts include the Adaha Dance Band and Kwan Pa among others.
