Chief Imam visits BOST to congratulate new CEO Afetsi Awoonor

The National Chief Imam, Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu, visited the Bulk Oil Storage and Transportation Company (BOST) on January 27, 2025, to congratulate Afetsi Awoonor on his historic appointment as the company’s youngest Managing Director.

The Chief Imam, reflecting on his friendship with Awoonor's late father, Professor Kofi Awoonor, commended President John Mahama for entrusting Awoonor with this key role in Ghana’s energy sector.

Sheikh Sharubutu urged Awoonor to lead with integrity and excellence, emphasizing collaboration within BOST to achieve its national mandate.

He concluded the visit with prayers for divine guidance, calling for innovation and sustainable growth under Awoonor’s leadership.
