The government has informed international partners about Ghana's debt restructuring progress.
According to the Finance Ministry, discussions with creditors are ongoing. The government is committed to a fair resolution for all parties involved. It thanked its partners for their support and cooperation.
Ghana is following its commitments to official creditors under the G20 Common Framework. No creditor has received preferential treatment in this process.
This approach aligns with the principle of Comparability of Treatment. The government has adhered to the Memorandum of Understanding with official creditors. It continues to remain in arrears with all external creditors included in the restructuring plan.
