Delta expands service to Ghana with new Accra-Atlanta route

Delta Air Lines will launch a seasonal daily nonstop service between Accra and Atlanta starting December 1, 2025, strengthening its presence in Ghana. This expansion is driven by high travel demand and positive feedback on Delta’s Airbus A330-900neo, already used on the New York- Accra route.

Delta, which has served Ghana since 2006, will now operate two direct routes to Accra: year-round New York-JFK and seasonal Atlanta flights. The Atlanta hub offers connections to 215+ destinations, benefiting Ghanaian travelers.

Additionally, Delta is expanding in Africa with a new Atlanta- Marrakech route in October 2025.

Investments in Atlanta’s airport, upgraded Sky Clubs, digital ID, and free Wi-Fi on West African routes highlight Delta’s commitment to enhancing the travel experience.
