Donewell Insurance has not rebranded – CEO affirms

Seth Kobla Aklasi, CEO of Donewell Insurance, addressed customer concerns about reports suggesting the company had rebranded. He clarified that Donewell Insurance has not undergone any rebranding. The confusion arises from Donewell Life Assurance, a separate entity, which recently rebranded.

Aklasi explained that Donewell Insurance and Donewell Life Assurance were originally one company but were split in 2007 due to the Insurance Act of 2006.

Donewell Insurance focuses on short-term, general insurance, while Donewell Life Assurance handles long-term life insurance products.

Despite a rebranding by Donewell Life Assurance, Donewell Insurance’s operations remain unchanged, and it continues to offer policies such as motor, fire, and accident insurance.
