Dr. Ato Forson elected Chairman of ECOWAS Bank for Investment and Development

Ghana's Finance Minister, Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson, has been elected Chairman of the ECOWAS Bank for Investment and Development (EBID). This decision was made at the 23rd Ordinary Session in Banjul, The Gambia.

Dr. Forson has over twenty years of experience in finance and macroeconomics. He also has expertise in tax policy. His leadership aims to promote strategic growth for the Bank.

He plans to focus on resource mobilization and capital recovery. Additionally, he seeks to build deeper partnerships. These efforts will help EBID become a leading Development Finance Institution in West Africa.
