Dr Oduro Osae appointed to UN General Assembly audit committee 

Dr. Eric Oduro Osae has been appointed to the Independent Audit Advisory Committee (IAAC) of the United Nations General Assembly.

He is the former Director-General of the Internal Audit Service in Ghana. This new role enhances global oversight and accountability for the UN. It supports the UN's internal oversight responsibilities and strengthens financial governance.

His appointment comes just a month after leaving his previous position. Many industry players, officials, friends, and family have congratulated him on this achievement.

Before joining IAAC, he was a Technical Advisor at the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development (MLGRD). He also lectures and analyzes policies to promote governance reforms.

Dr. Osae holds a Doctorate in Governance and Public Policy. He is also a trained lawyer and chartered accountant.
