Ghana’s recent National Economic Dialogue (NED) has sent a strong signal to international investors about the country’s commitment to bold economic reforms.
Speaking on The Big Issue on Channel One TV, Economic Advisor Prof. Mahmud Sharif Khalid emphasized that the high-level discussions, involving key stakeholders, showcased Ghana’s determination to tackle economic challenges.
He likened the situation to post-World War II Europe, stressing the need for strategic reforms to restore stability. The forum focused on fiscal sustainability, strengthening institutions, and economic recovery, reassuring investors of Ghana’s commitment to stability and growth.
The March 3–4, 2025, dialogue at the Accra International Conference Centre outlined a roadmap for macroeconomic stability and governance reforms, emphasizing practical solutions for sustainable growth.
