**Observing the Holy Month**
Collins Adjei, Area Sales Manager – North at MTN Ghana, spoke in Tamale. He presented items to mark the end of Ramadan and the celebration of Eid-ul-Fitr.
He stated that MTN donated to Chief Imams nationwide as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility. This gesture aims to support Muslim communities during this special time.
"Eid-ul-Fitr is a moment for families and communities to unite," he said. It’s also a time for charity and promoting harmony with neighbors.
Adjei highlighted that this initiative took place across all 16 regions in Ghana. He noted that the Muslim community is vital to their business operations.
“This season allows us to thank our customers for their support,” he added.
**Promoting Digital Transactions**
Mr. Adjei also introduced MTN’s new app during the event. “Our apps make transactions faster and easier,” he explained.
The Memo App lets customers perform mobile money transactions without dialing *170#. He encouraged everyone to download it for convenient services.
**Appreciation**
Al-Haji Abdus-Salam Ahmed Abdulai Habibu Mohammed, Secretary of the Northern Regional Chief Imam, expressed gratitude on behalf of the Chief Imam.
He acknowledged MTN's donation as crucial for supporting less privileged individuals during Eid celebrations.
“This annual gesture has been ongoing for over six years,” he noted.
He emphasized that many constituents are poor, and this support helps them celebrate Eid meaningfully.
