Minister for Energy, Herbert Krapa, announced that the electricity supply challenges in Ghana have been resolved. The outages, caused by the shutdown of the Asogli power plant, have been addressed as the plant is now operating at full capacity.
In an interview with Asaase News, Krapa assured citizens of uninterrupted power supply moving forward.
President Nana Akufo-Addo echoed this sentiment during an interview on Hello FM in Kumasi. He attributed the recent power outages to technical and capacity issues, not financial constraints.
The President confirmed that key facilities, including the Asogli power plant, are back online, ensuring stable and secure energy delivery.
Ghanaians can expect reliable power as the government continues to collaborate with stakeholders in the energy sector to prevent future disruptions.
