Ghana’s inflation rate for February 2025 fell slightly to 23.1%, down from 23.5% in January, driven by a 1.8% drop in food inflation.
Government Statistician Prof. Samuel Kobina Anim noted that food inflation has been on a steady decline for four consecutive months, reducing by 2.0 percentage points since November 2024. He emphasized that this trend is expected to further impact overall inflation positively.
Despite the marginal drop, February’s inflation remains the third-highest in the past 10 months, reflecting ongoing economic challenges.
