Fidelity Bank Ghana is committed to professional development and leadership. Members of its Toastmasters Clubs excelled at the 2025 Toastmasters District 94 Conference in Yamoussoukro, Côte d’Ivoire.
Two representatives reached the finals after strong performances in Ghana. Benjamin Addo from Fidelity Corporate Toastmasters competed in the Table Topics Contest. Esteban David King from Fidelity Orange Heights Toastmasters participated in the International Speech Contest.
Their captivating performances showcased the Bank’s investment in developing confident leaders. Benjamin Addo finished third in the District 94 Table Topics Contest, a competitive impromptu speaking event. His eloquence earned him regional recognition and pride for both the Bank and Ghana.
Last year, Fidelity Toastmasters members also represented Ghana well in Abuja, Nigeria. This shows that the Bank's commitment to leadership development is making a lasting impact.
Ten members from both clubs attended the conference, which Fidelity Bank sponsored. Delegates engaged in educational workshops, networking sessions, and a gala dinner. These activities aimed to enhance leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
The experience empowered attendees and strengthened their connection to Toastmasters' global movement. Fidelity Corporate Toastmasters received the President’s Distinguished Club Award—the highest honor for a club. Fidelity Orange Heights Toastmasters achieved the Distinguished Club Award as well.
These accolades reflect Fidelity Bank’s strong learning culture and ability to build high-performing teams. Atta Yeboah Gyan, Deputy Managing Director at Fidelity Bank, commented on their success. He said this achievement shows what is possible when a company believes in its people.
He added that at Fidelity, they develop not just bankers but also leaders and changemakers. Congratulations were extended to team members for representing Ghana proudly on this platform.
As District 94 prepares for its next conference in Ghana, Fidelity Bank's influence continues to grow within Toastmasters. With a track record of excellence and commitment to staff development, Fidelity will inspire others beyond banking.
