Finance Minister Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson has urged Parliament to approve the 2025 budget estimates to facilitate key economic policies for growth.
Speaking at the 2025 Post-Budget Workshop, he highlighted major initiatives, including the Big Push policy, the Ghana Gold Board, and Agriculture for Economic Transformation.
He emphasized the importance of revenue and expenditure measures in achieving fiscal goals and called for legislative support to implement them. Among the proposed initiatives is the 24-hour economy policy to drive job creation and inclusive growth.
The GH¢10 billion Big Push policy is set to commence this year, while the Ghana Gold Board aims to enhance foreign exchange inflows and gold reserves. Dr. Forson stressed that these policies are crucial for sustainable economic progress.
