The first direct flight from London Gatwick to Prempeh I International Airport in Kumasi is set to arrive on December 6, 2024, marking a significant milestone for the newly inaugurated airport.
Ethiopian Airlines will operate the flight with a Boeing 737-800, accommodating 154 passengers.
Aviance Ghana, the sole ground-handling service provider at Kumasi Airport, assures readiness for this historic operation. Managing Director Mark Kamis highlighted the company's robust capacity, advanced equipment, and skilled personnel.
Aviance is expanding its presence in Ghana, now operating in Tamale and other airports, except the military-exclusive Takoradi Airport.
