Florence Adei Ohene appointed as second Deputy MD of CBG

Adei's addition is expected to strengthen the bank’s leadership. This will help drive its vision of delivering exceptional customer value.

She has held various high-level roles at CBG. Most recently, she led the International and Diaspora Business. There, she developed strategies that increased diaspora engagement.

Adei has a deep understanding of banking in Ghana and abroad. She is known for her excellence, innovation, and visionary leadership.

Previously, she served in executive positions at uniBank. She also held senior roles at JP Morgan Chase, PNC Bank, and SunTrust Bank in the U.S.

Her experience includes Wealth Management, Corporate Banking, Strategy, and Project Management. Adei graduated with an MBA from Georgetown University. She also holds two degrees from UCLA, graduating Cum Laude.

Additionally, she champions women’s economic empowerment and financial inclusion. Her focus is especially on women-owned businesses.

Her appointment is seen as a boost to CBG’s mission. The goal is to deliver impactful banking services to Ghanaians everywhere.
