The 2025 Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC) Marketing Conference gathered media and advertising leaders to discuss the future of the industry.

Emmanuel Odoom, General Manager of FutureBrands Advertising and PR, delivered a presentation on “Advertiser Expectations and Effective Pitching,” emphasizing audience reach, data-driven strategies, and innovation.

Odoom highlighted advertisers' demand for meaningful connections over mere visibility, stressing the importance of understanding consumer behavior and using data to guide campaigns.

He also discussed the integration of traditional and digital media, the role of analytics, and innovative tools like augmented reality for impactful advertising.

Other speakers included Prof. Robert Hinson of GCTU and Priscilla Wellinton, CEO of Customer Service Africa, who shared insights on organizational excellence and customer experience. The event ended with discussions on media buying and optimizing advertising ROI.
