The Ghana Export-Import Bank (GEXIM) has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting farmers and the agricultural sector through financial assistance aimed at boosting productivity and business development.
Rosemary Beryl Archer, Deputy CEO of GEXIM, highlighted the critical role of farmers in the country’s industrialization and the importance of value addition to raw produce.
Speaking at the "Farmer's Mart" SME fair during National Farmers’ Day, she commended the display of high-quality, value-added Ghanaian products.
The Deputy Minister for Food and Agriculture, Yaw Frimpong Addo, praised the initiative for its potential to reduce post-harvest losses, create jobs, and enhance exports by promoting food processing and market integration.
