Mr. Simon Madjie, CEO of the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC), met with the Minister for Trade, Agribusiness, and Industry, Hon. Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare, to discuss enhancing Ghana’s business environment and attracting investments.
Madjie outlined plans to map investment opportunities across all districts, creating a detailed database to support trade missions and effectively market regional prospects.
He stressed the need for closer collaboration among state agencies to ensure comprehensive investment data and to leverage opportunities from the government’s 24-hour economy policy and AfCFTA integration.
In response, Hon. Ofosu-Adjare pledged full support, announcing the “Feed the Industry” project to link commercial farmers with industries, thereby addressing raw material shortages and boosting investment competitiveness in Ghana.
The initiative is expected to drive sustainable economic growth and bolster Ghana's reputation as a premier investment destination.
